our home renovation: guest bath plan + design

Hi Guys!

So we finally moved into our house after bringing a new baby boy into the world, moving in with my parents for three months after living in a cabin in the mountains for a month and starting both our daughter Marley and our son Lennix in school full days! Needless to say the six week construction timeline was more like 16 weeks! In this renovation we blew out five walls, tore out our laminate flooring and installed lighter wood tiles (which I already love because they hide allll the dirt) relocated our bedroom, added a half bath and re-textured every wall in our house from our 80's orange peel texture to an amazing smooth finish which also required re-painting the entire house. Of course there was a lot of boring electrical work, air conditioning and A.C duct re-locating involved which I'll spare you the details of... but I think all those little things is what stalled our process along the most. Overall we are SOO excited with the end result and so ready to enjoy our holiday season here with our family! Now we are moving in and starting on our kitchen remodel and our laundry room remodel while we are living in the house which I'm hoping to keep you all updated with here!

I'm tinkering with the guest bath design also and I need help nailing down a few things! We laid this tile by Cement Tile Shop and I love it so much! I just can't decide between black finishes or an aged brass: which one do you like better?
